Terms & Conditions

Summary of special terms and conditions:

1.Service available within Optus 3G/HSPA coverage areas.

2. Any credit purchased is not refundable nor transferable after activation.

3. You are responsible to monitor your own usage to avoid excessive spending.

4. E.Tel will make every endeavour to notify the customer to recharge when your credit expires or very low. E.Tel may increase your data limit depending on your credibility history.

5. If your account payment is not via credit card or savings bank account auto-recharge, a minimum 10% of your purchased data allowance must remain in your account at any time to avoid suspension.

6. Due to the nature of this prepay billing account, there may be more than 2 days delay in retrieving data usage record from our network provider (Optus). If you went over the data limit, you are responsible to pay for all usage according to your plan immediately, including delayed transaction data record. Any unpaid exceeding data will cause suspension and bad debt collection.

7. Your service will be suspended if your pre-pay account expires or reaching your data usage limit, or if we suspect that there is an abnormal usage that may incur bad debt.

8. If the service stays suspended for 3 months and you have not contacted us for unsuspension, it will be terminated automatically.

9. Please visit www.etel.com.au for your data usage record and remaining data allowance.

10. Bring your own modem for your internet use (please confirm that your modem is unlocked and compatible with our network) or you may purchase our standard modem (contact us for current price).

11. A replacement fee of $25 applies when requesting a new 3G data SIM card under all circumstances.

12. All prices listed are GST inclusive and are subject to change.

13. E.Tel reserves the right to terminate the service in suspected cases of misuse or abuse, and also the right to deny service to those with suspicious or unreliable credit histories.

14. We may send free news and notifications via SMS from time to time. If you would not like to receive these messages please contact us.

15. E.Tel assures the accuracy of information revealed in this brochure at the time of printing. This plan is subject to modification, withdrawal or supplement without advance notice.
